| Application Materials 1. SDU Application Form for International Students 2. Photocopy of applicant's valid passport (passport type must be ordinary) 3. Photocopy of Senior High School Graduation Diploma in Chinese or English (Students expecting to graduate should provide an official letter stating expected graduation date, and submit the graduation diploma if admitted) 4. Photocopy of Official Transcripts of Senior High School in Chinese or English (including all courses taken andPerformance Ranking) 5. Resume/CV (Applicants with work experience must provide working proof document.) 6. Language certificate: ①If you apply for courses taught in English: Applicants from Non-English Speaking countries should provide IELTS or TOEFL. ②If you apply for courses taught in Chinese, you should provide us: A copy of your HSK certificate (for studying for Bachelor’s degree - above 180, Level 4) 7. A copy of the Physical Examination Record for Foreigners 8. Personal Statement (such as Personal Experience, Study Motivation, Study Plan and etc.) | ||

Master’s Degree & Senior Scholar

A Chinese or English copy of the applicant’s relevant graduation diplomas and degree diplomas 5. A copy of bachelor’s transcript with performance ranking as a must 6. Resume/CV (Applicants with work experience must provide working proof document.) 7. Two letters of recommendation from people with the academic title of associate professor or above 8. Language certificate: ①If you apply for courses taught in English: Applicants from Non-English Speaking countries should provide IELTS or TOEFL. ②If you apply for courses taught in Chinese, you should provide us: A copy of your HSK certificate (for studying for Master’s degree-above 180, Level 5) 9. *Long-term Chinese Language Study includes General Chinese Language Study and Preparatory Chinese Language Study.
Note: Applicants who obtained their last degree with Chinese or English as the teaching language do not need to submit their HSK certificate or IELTS/TOEFL, but a certificate of the teaching language is needed.
